There's lots of support at Swinburne, if you know where to look - we're here to help.

Academic Development Advisors (ADAs)

Academic development advisers work in each of Swinburne’s faculties. They are here to help you make the most of your university experience and assist with any issues you may face during your studies, including course advice, study and time management strategies, accessing support services and running peer support programs (such as Swin-Mentors!).

Swinburne Peer Assistants (SPAs)

SPAs provide drop in study support during the semester, from 11.30am to 2.30pm Monday to Friday in room AD108. They are Swinburne students who have been selected and trained to provide one-to-one support to other students from the same study area.

SPAs have done well in their study and can give course and/or faculty-specific advice, as well as provide guidance to accessing other academic and support services.
